When I started to write this little bio I thought, "What would I REALLY want to know about my dentist?"  Well, my hands don't shake, I can see well, and I like helping people.  I've been around and done a lot of dentistry, so I've learned tons since graduating from West Virginia University Dental School.  I grew up in Huntington, WVA and played many sports, which I still do.  My summer jobs were mowing lawns, working in a drive in restaurant waiting on cars, a "utility man" in what was the second largest glass bottling factory in the world, and then in a similar job in a bakery (it smelled much better there!).  After college I taught school for 3 years before entering WVU Dental School.  Fell in love with Raleigh, and along with my wife Carol, been here ever since.

Our office philosophy is very simple in that we follow the Golden Rule.  We treat our patients (you) just like we would want to be treated; with kindness, honesty, and fairness, with a little humor mixed in!

Angela joined our staff in 2017 bringing with her over 14 years of dental eperience.  A Michigan native, she has been in Raleigh since 2013 (but didn't find me until 2017) and is married with one boy.

"I love working in a small practice where I can get to know you.  I truly believe the Golden Rule.  I am the person who usually answers the phone, schedules your appoinments, greets you, and helps you understand how all things 'dental' work."

"I consider no task or question too small or too large; I am here to help you in any way I can."

Anna grew up locally and graduated from the Wake Tech Dental Assisting Program in 2013.  With no time to rest up she started work with me immediately.

"I love making patients laugh because I know some of them have fears from long ago about coming to 'the dentist'.  I want them to feel safe and comfortable here. I want patients who choose to come here to feel like family because they truly are!"

Lisa is from Kinston and graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 1985, earning the coveted "Golden Scaler Award" which went to the most gentle student.  Have her clean your teeth and you will see how good she is at her job!  She began working in my office straight out of school in 1985.  She is married and has 3 children.

"My position as a Hygienist gives me a feeling of accomplishment after helping every patient improve their health through improved oral care both here in our office and at home.  A clean mouth leads to a healthier life!"
